Gold Hill Fire Protection District

The Gold Hill Fire Department is an all-volunteer organization that provides professional fire and medical first response to our community.

We are located in the unincorporated community of Gold Hill, just west of Boulder, Colorado.

We respond to around 25 calls (via 911) per year. Our department has 23 rostered volunteers. We have one station which house a total of four emergency response vehicles: two engines, one water tenders, and one brush truck.

We are always seeking volunteers. Volunteers can serve in many capacities besides firefighter and medical provider. We provide as much training as a volunteer is interested in obtaining. Interested persons can contact Chief Chris Finn at
